Two big Houston events are starting soon:

1. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo begins in less than two weeks on Monday, February 25^th and runs through Sunday, March 17^th. It is starting earlier this year than last year.
2. The Azalea Trail will occur Friday through Sunday, March 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd.

February’s weather is all over the place with possibly freezing temperatures one day and temperatures in the 80s Fahrenheit/20s Centigrade later in the week. Dress appropriately and stay healthy.

As I write this blog, the Houston Rockets’s James Harden is having one of the greatest scoring seasons in the team’s and NBA history. I am going to set a challenge for one lucky person. Whoever can be the first person to send me an email with the Houston Rockets’s 5 highest single season scorers, the season, and the average (not counting this season) will win a free 3-hour city tour for one person. For example, James Harden, 2018 – 2019, 36.6 points per game. By the way, Harden may set the Houston record for scoring average, but not for the most points for a season because he has missed about 4 games. We will see.
