Welcome Fans, Friends, and Visitors,
Hi.
The Super Bowl and Groundhog Day start off the week. Who will win? Will we have six more weeks of winter? February is Black History Month.
Weather in Houston
February is Houston’s third coldest month after December and January. These are the only months where the average high temperature is in the 60s Fahrenheit/Teens Centigrade. However, cold is a relative term. We see snow in Houston about once every three years and then it is usually a light dusting that will melt by the following day. Click here for the weekly report.
Monthly Special for a 2.5-Hour Walking Tour – Discounted by 17 to 29% Based on the Number of People
The monthly special for February is a walking tour of the Rice Village and Rice University. From 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Monday through Saturday – we offer the Rice Village and Rice University Walking Tour.
This will give you opportunities to go into various boutiques and restaurants in the Village, see the statue of William Marsh Rice that rests over his cremated ashes, various buildings on the Rice campus including the performance arts hall, the movie theater, and the student center.
Weekly Special for Driving Tours – February 2nd through February 8th. Discounted 20%.
Because this is Black History Month, consider going on our African American Heritage Tour C. This includes a local Black history museum, the oldest African American church in Houston, a historic Black cemetery, the site of the biggest race riot in Texas, and more. It goes through the 3rd, 1st, and 6th Wards. Click here to read a description.
Weekly Special for National Food Days – February 2nd through February 8th
These are 3-hour customized tours that can be blended. The price is the same as a regularly priced 3-hour City Tour. You pay for anything that you consume. The National Food Days include:
- February 5th – National Chocolate Fondue Day
- February 6th – National Chopsticks Day
See you on a tour.
Sincerely,
Keith Rosen
